Kam is a specialist in gut health, menopause, weight management and sports Nutrition. Her mission is to empower others to take charge of their health, by creating a platform to provide tools to allow others to make those all-important dietary and lifestyle changes and enjoy optimal health.

Working in a corporate environment for many years, I struggled to maintain a healthy work life balance which eventually started to negatively impact my health.
I started feeling fatigued, experiencing brain fog, joint pain, heavy periods and irregular cycles. My GP requested some blood tests and I was prescribed some iron tablets and told that everything else was normal. This was not the answer I was looking for as I was still feeling unwell.
I decided to take charge of. my own health and introduced several dietary and lifestyle changes and within weeks I began to feel better and within a few months I had completely healed my body. My sleep improved, my gut issues had gone and my energy and fitness levels peaked. I went on to train as a personal trainer and worked as a freelance health and fitness coach. This was only the beginning, I was intrigued to learn more about, not only sports nutrition but how to naturally heal my body and help others, this led me to train as a Nutritional Therapist.
I had worked with a Nutritional Therapist who gave me a dietary and lifestyle plan which transformed my health. I felt healthier and fitter than ever before, all through the healing powers of nutrition and exercise.
Having seen the impact Nutritional therapy had on my health, I knew this was what I wanted to do. This is when I came across the College of Naturopathic medicine, a 3 year post graduate diploma. The course covered every system in the body and how they are interconnected, as well as it functional medicine and herbal medicine, how to apply all this in clinical practice, 200 hours of supervised clinical assessment.
The profound knowledge I gained from this course has allowed me to help clients suffering with varying symptoms, I have seen time and time again how a functional application of nutrition can support health and chronic disease.
I have a unique understanding of the impact daily stress can have on the body, causing symptoms that can lead to chronic disease, fortunately mine were caught just in time. Prevention is better than cure but it's never too late, if you are willing to put in the work you will see results.
